Due to the total lockdown order given by most governments around the globe in order to contain the spread of COVID-19, a lot of sector especially education has been shut down.

As a result of this, approximately 1.725 billion learners were affected by school closures.

Consequently, school closures has uncovered some social issues ranging from child care, access to digital learning, and so on.

The government should not only provide technologies for learning in schools but also maintain them regularly because what’s the use of having new computers and gadgets only to use them for a particular set. Also the educational system in the country especially in public(both federal and state) schools is not to write home about. As for me, I think covid-19 is a blessing in disguise as it helped expose a lot of issues in Nigeria surrounding our educational and healthcare sectors.
